Go fly your flag where it belongs

What is true of creed is no less true of nationality. There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism.

Time(j)

Thinking about time in another way… What if it’s not linear? What if time is a thing that can be opened and once opened the past and future can be seen? Can we see time the way we look at things under a microscope? Could time be found in events that tell something about it? Like the future or the past? Can we look into historical events and see the future?

Open mindedness

Having an open mind means being willing to read/listen/watch opinions you don’t agree with. If all you do is give yourself to what you believe to be right or true then you’ll never grow. In order to fully understand anything one must be willing to completely see what the middle and other side says. If you’re not willing to do that then you’re fostering a closed mind whether you know it or not. Open mindedness is a lifestyle. It’s a choice. It’s a decision that says “I don’t know it all and am willing to listen to what all sides have to say”. In this way an open mind is indispensable to growth, understanding and effectiveness.
